We will discuss this

EEC Trends focuses on today's most important challenges – from geopolitics and energy independence, through digital sovereignty and investments, to security, infrastructure and the labour market.

  • Poland and Europe – time for a new order

Europe and the world are entering a period of geopolitical restructuring that is redefining security, competitiveness and Poland's position in the global balance of power. The discussion will focus on Poland's role in the G20, opportunities for business and new directions for regional and international cooperation.

  • Energy, transformation, economy

Energy transition is becoming a key condition for economic development and national resilience. We discuss costs, the pace of change, technologies, and the impact of the energy sector of the future on the competitiveness of businesses and new sectors of the economy.

  • Digital and sovereign

Digital independence and control over data and infrastructure are becoming strategic challenges in an era dominated by global technologies. The debate concerns the development of European and national cloud solutions, AI and cybersecurity systems.

  • Public investment – state and business

The scale of public investment requires effective dialogue between the state and the executive sector. The focus is on strategies, financing and implementation barriers that determine the pace of the country's modernisation.

  • Local content in energy sector

Key energy investments create opportunities for the development of domestic companies and technologies. We discuss the participation of Polish companies in strategic projects and the regulations that may increase or limit this participation.

  • Major infrastructure projects

Transport and energy infrastructure sets the direction for a country's development. The debate covers priorities, risks, implementation and the impact of megaprojects – roads, railways, airports – on the economy and investment attractiveness.

  • Security, defence, industry

Growing geopolitical threats reinforce the importance of the defence industry and dual-use technologies. We will discuss the potential of the domestic sector, its integration with science and the modernisation of the armed forces.

  • Demographics, labour market, education

Demographic changes will redefine the labour market, social security system and education. The discussion focuses on ways to compensate for labour shortages, the role of migration, automation and training for the skills of the future.

  • New, resilient infrastructure

The resilience of critical infrastructure is becoming a priority in the context of military, cyber and climate security. We analyse investments and organisational models that strengthen the state's ability to respond to threats.
