Michał Bolesławski has been with ING for 24 years. In 2006, he took up the position of Bank Executive Director managing the Business Clients Division and in 2008, he became Vice-President of the ING Bank Śląski Management Board in charge of that area of the bank’s operations and of the following subsidiaries: ING Commercial Finance, ING Lease and ING Usługi dla Biznesu. It was at that time that ING Bank Śląski became the leader in the corporate banking segment. The Bank became known for its fast-track lending process and a very high level of digital capabilities of corporate banking service. In January 2021, Michał was promoted to the Head of Business Banking in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg at ING Group. In that position, Michał transformed that segment, enhancing the level of digitalisation and innovativeness in those markets. In 2023, he took up the position of Global Head of Business Banking and he became a member of the Board of Directors at ING Belgium. In April 2025, he assumed the position of President of the ING Bank Śląski.
Michał Bolesławski graduated from Harvard Business School and the Warsaw School of Economics. He also studied at Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government and ESADE.
