The WNP Awards are prestigious prizes presented by the editorial team of the WNP portal to individuals, institutions and companies that make a significant contribution to the development of the Polish economy. They go to those whose work, courage and ability to see change coming point to new opportunities for the development of industries, sectors and the economy as a whole.
The WNP Awards statuettes are presented at a gala held as part of EEC Trends – the event that precedes the European Economic Congress. It is through the discussions, debates and consultations held there that the final shape of the agenda of Central Europe’s most important economic event is developed.
The aim of the competition is to honour leaders of positive change – individuals and organisations that not only achieve business success, but also create value for the economy and society. The WNP Awards recognise those who combine vision with responsibility, innovation with long-term results, and ambition with real impact on the world around them.
The award is meant to inspire – it shows that Poland has leaders who can see opportunities where others see only risk, and who introduce solutions that in time become the standard. It is also a way of recognising consistency, determination and courage in pursuing goals that serve the economy as a whole.
The WNP Awards continue the tradition of the “The One Who Changes Polish Industry” awards, presented for over a decade by the PTWP Group, publisher of the WNP portal, to the most important figures in the Polish economy. Then as now, the WNP awards go to people from many different backgrounds – entrepreneurs, managers, investors and leaders who make a lasting contribution to the development of the economy and to shaping thinking about its future.
The WNP Awards are a tribute to those who have a real impact on the economy. They are a symbol of leadership and courage, and at the same time an encouragement for others to set themselves ambitious goals and pursue visions that change the world around us.
The WNP Awards honour those who do not wait for the future, but actively shape it today.
